As a single Mother of two children (ages 6 and 8) I'm wondering if there are board game meet-ups that children attend or are considered "kid friendly"?

I would like to thank those adults that played games with my children at Byerly's this last week.

Since I've been to two meet-ups that were attended by other adults only, I am wondering if other members bring their children to specific meet-ups or if this group is more about time to socialize with other adults exclusively?

I'd appreciate your thoughts.

Look for the event that takes place in the church basement, I think it's called St. Albert. When I go there, I always see kids.

We try to post when we think the event is more kid friendly. Most of the events we hold at St. Albert's are very family friendly as well as when we do outside events.

We are always looking for more venues to have meetup events. If you would like to host an event at your home or you know of another location we can contact please let one of us know.

Thanks!
Nadine

My son is two, and I take him everywhere with me. I haven't been to a board games meetup yet, but I hope to in the near future.

Be brought our six year old (who is a board game nut) to one of the TCBGG church basement meetups and it worked great. Any of the larger events in public locations will be fine for (well behaved) kids. I would ask first though before bringing kids to smaller meetups at people's homes.
