Hey, all-

I didn't know if this was the appropriate forum, but I thought I'd throw this our for any TC boardgamers who might be interested. I'd like to start a group of 6-8 monthly players who can reliably (more or less) get together to play some of the more cooperative, story intensive games out on the market. These are games that tend to be pretty rules heavy, but also rely on the "drama" at the table for their success (and yeah, not all of these games are strictly cooperative, but they all do have a flavor of team dynamics and strategy). "Winning" may even be secondary to the enjoyment of the game.

From what I'm gathering, those who are interested in these types of games tend to be far and few between. So rather than drag my unfortunately rarely-used copies of these games to each meetup and put on my best "sad puppy dog" face, I thought it'd be better to go directly to the listserv. So here's my pitch: I have the first two games on the list contained in the subject of this thread, as well as a home in Richfield that I would love to welcome people into (if this doesn't work for folks, I know of a couple other public places in Minneapolis that could be accommodating). Again, looking for 6-8 social adults to get together for wine and games once a month, especially if you have any previous interest/experience in the above listed games (or could make suggestions to expand the list). Feel free to drop me a line at amichaelkuehn@hotmail.com. If I get enough interest, I'll send out an email requesting available dates in the near future.

Thanks!

Mike
