Hello all,

I thought I would post information about some upcoming conventions in case anyone is interested in attending as a meetup group! If you know of others, please post as well.

CHITAG:
Chicago International Toy and Game Fair
Nov 16 - 18 2007
Schaumburg Convention Center and Renaissance Hotel
http://www.chitag.com...

Mike and I went a couple years ago when it was still being held downtown and we had a blast. I noticed that Meetup.com was a 2006 sponsor. This is not as intense as a "gaming" convention. It's geared towards families and having fun, meeting game inventors and playing games. This would be a great road trip!

Origins International Game Expo:
July 5 - 8 2007
Columbus Ohio
https://www.originsga...

Has anyone ever gone in the past?

Let me know if you are interested in attending and we can try and coordinate a TwinCities Boardgame Meetup ROAD TRIP!!!

I know I haven't met any of you yet, but I think a road trip would be a blast, and I absolutely love Chicago. I have a mini-van, so it is possible that I can drive, if needed! Looking forward to an upcoming game night!!

I would love to go to the Chicago convention! And I very likely will be driving through Ohio the weekend of the one there, so if anyone decides to go, I could meet up with you.
