Hello and happy new year!

Since we are always getting new members, this note can be used to formally welcome you to the boardgame group and hope that you can show up at some events in the future and play games with other members.

Since we don't have a formal event until the big Game Party at the beginning of February, this note also functions as an inquiry into whether anyone would like to meetup during a weeknight in the next two weeks at either of the Chatterbox Pub locations (Minneapolis or St. Paul). For anyone unfamiliar, the Chatterbox carries a wide variety of popular board games. We had a meetup there in a few months ago that went well. This would be a good meetup and a nice way for those new to the group to see what we're all about without in a much smaller venue than the big game party.

Speaking of that, this final reminder is to all members with children. For those of you with kids, please note that the big game party in February will have lots of kids games and is especially fun for them as their are prizes as well. If you have kids or can take a few for a few hours, please come to our game party in February.

Sorry I can't right now, but after March 1st, I'd be willing to meet at a Chatterbox Pub! I'll still be at the Feb 3rd meet-up. I just have to make sure I get my website done in time for the March 1st deadline.
