Super Summer Game Night - For All!!!

Saint Albert the Great Catholic Church (map)

Selected By: Nadine Sehnert

Yes! It's time once again for the super game night! We'll bring the games and supply the beverages and you bring something to share for the potluck.

And the St. Albert's social hall is now air conditioned! We will be collecting a suggested $5/family fee to help cover the costs of using the space.

Like Kristi said in her comment - this event is open to all! All ages, singles, marrieds, families, and all types of gamers - party games to eurogames and everything in between. This is a great opportunity to just come and have FUN! You never know what will happen!

So, if you need a break from all those art festivals - stop by St. Alberts and play a few rounds of your favorite game or learn some new ones. There will be plenty of games, food, tables and great people!!!

Just to clarify for the new folks, yes, this is a family friendly/all ages event, but this is a great event for us single/childless people too! :O)

Wonderful people playing games. It was great to hear so much laughter! Learned one new game - everything from bridge to dominos to apples to apples to whatever the Euro people were playing - all great! Fact or Crap? FACT: This party ROCKED!

great event. run by enthusiastic organizers. I learned about 3 new games that night and never even played my favorite (blockus) but that's ok. definitely make it to one of these if you have never gone.

Nice variety of food for supper and had a great time playing games with attendees! Can't wait for the next one!

The host, Nadine welcomed us and met us at the door. That was really a nice touch since we had no idea how these things work. She made sure we had someone to play with which was nice as well. All the games were supplied and it was quite a variety so no one had to bring games from home. Also nice. I look forward to attending more of these nights. Facility was nice but quite a ways from home for me. That was the only hitch. Chris

A great time as always, Mike and Nadine are great hosts and St. Alberts is a great space (especially now with air conditioning).

The only problem was that it was rather noisy. It was often difficult hearing questions of the game being read. Especially when someone from another table would be whooping it up and laughing very noisily.

It was fun and I learned a new game.

I arrived late, but that didn't matter - there were plenty of games and tons of gamers.

It was fun to see everyone! I enjoyed playing games and appreciate that it was an all ages event.
