State Fair? State Fair!

Hi Everyone,

We were going to schedule a meetup in a new place here in the next week or so and then I remembered that it is State Fair time. I love playing board games, but I also love going to the fair. So why not combine two fun things into one?

Location: Common area south of the Food Building with all the tables.
Time: Saturday August 25: noon to whenever
Games: Bring something portable enough to store in a backpack and something that you won't mind if someone touches the contents after eating cheese curds. We'll be playing outdoor on small tables.

OK, I know the State Fair isn't the best place to hold a meeting, but if you were planning on coming to the fair anyway, this is just further incentive. We will be there with a sign of some sort so it will be easier to find us amongst all the other fair patrons. We'll be bringing a few highly portable and fun games that anyone can play while also enjoying fair food.

If you want to come and play games, that's great. If you want to play a game between visiting the cow barn and going on the giant slide, that's fine too. If you just want to stop by and say hi, that's perfectly acceptable.

Hopefully we'll see more than a few of you at the fair this Saturday. We'll have our cell phone with in case you get lost. Nadine's number is [masked].
