Mike and Nadine's Game Party!

Saint Albert the Great Catholic Church (map)

Selected By: Nadine Sehnert

Because Mike and I are frantically trying to can (make jam, pear butter, brandy pears) all the pears from our pear tree we will be combining our September Meetup event with an existing annual game party that we have been throwing for several years.

Because we expect a large turnout (there were about 100 people who attended our last party) we hold these game parties in our local church social hall (basement). This party is for everyone - all ages! It's a great family event so bring the kids and invite your friends and relatives too.

Details:
Mike and I will provide:
All games to play - board games, card games, games of skill, party games
Big wheel of prizes and prizes - we will have many, many games to give away.

You provide:
Potluck item (food or beverage) to share
Item or game for the prize table (we do not expect new items - great time to regift something!)

If you would like to suggest a specific game, please make sure to do so in your rsvp. We have over 2000 so hopefully we have that specific game you are looking for. NOTE: Most of our games are pre 1980 although we do have a nice collection of newer games too and will bring games from the early 20th century to games released in the past few years. We will also be bringing games appropriate for all ages but if you have young ones let us know ages so we can make sure we have games picked out just for them!

It was so fun to share our party with the meetup group. We had about 13 or 14 of our members show and many of them brought guests. I think I counted 89 total people who came. Some of the party favorites were apples to apples - compatibility and snorta!

It was fun. There was plenty of food, the people were friendly and it was nice to have a range of ages there. Mike and Nadine were very generous with prizes and I even won some of there home canned pear butter! A winning evening. Thank you Mike and Nadine. signed: Naomi Pardaz
