This event has been rescheduled due to rain!
June 12 was National Get Outdoors Day (http://www.nationalge...) and to celebrate we of the Twin Cities Board Game community will venture from our regular indoor tables to play fun and fantastic board games out in nature. In addition to bringing our board games on an annual outdoors venture, we will also bring a few classic outdoor games as well.
Come one and come all to learn about all the new and amazingly fun board games out there or to just play some fun recreational games in the sun.
This event is listed on the official Open Field selection of the Walker Art Center page as well. You can find it here along with all details.
Note that this event will be held outdoors in a big grassy field. We will have enough tables and chairs to seat 36 but there will be a lot of open area. We will bring Bocce, croquet, as well as other outdoor games. Dress appropriately for the weather and don't forget sunscreen!
I'm sure puppies will be fine as long as they are on a leash and plastic bags are on hand to help clean up.
Thanks Mike! That's what I figured, but thought I'd ask.
Does anyone know if pets are allowed on the Open Field...and would one be okay at this Meetup?
I have a new puppy that I don't want to leave alone for too long and I'd be able to stay longer if I could bring him along.
