Marge Sehnert (yeah, my mom) is hosting a card and boardgame night at the Trinity Apartments. The event will be in the dining room so you can bring snacks and your own beverage if you choose.

Please let us know if you want to play card or games so we can plan accordingly (like how many decks of cards do we need??) Bring your own games to play too!

Parking is available in the lot directly north of the apt building and you can enter from either Lake Street or from the alley east of the building on 31st St. Please enter the building from the West Main Doors, you will need to be buzzed in and we will have instructions posted if no one is there to let you in.

As always, if you want to bring a snack or your own beverage that's fine. Otherwise, whatever we scounge up will be available.

See you!

The every other week meetups at our house will now be rotating days since some of you work, have classes, have volleyball, etc.

If you have a game you want to play feel free to bring it along. We never quite know what games we will be playing! Please make suggestions of games you want to play in your RSVP as it might entice someone else to come who wants to play that game.

If you want something to drink or eat, feel free to bring it along or something to share.

See you!

Thanks to member Jean Blakeley-Cook, she has found a new place to host our group!

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church has invited us to come for potluck and games from 5 pm to 10 pm on Sat, January 17th, 2009.

The lot for the church is located off Lake Street - just past the Trinity on Lake Apt building. There is no parking in the lot immediately to the east of the church, that is used for the Trinity Apartment building. You can also park on the street. Enter the door that is on the east side of the building. We will post signs.

There is also a bus stop on Lake street right by the church for those of you who take the bus.

The meetup start early to encourage families to attend.

Bring an item for potluck and if you bring games, please put your name on them.

I'll update more as we get closer to this event.

Come and celebrate New Year's Eve with Games, Food, Fun and Prizes!!!!

A great time to share and learn those new games you got over the holidays. Board games, card games, party games - bring 'em & we'll play 'em!

What should you bring?
* Potluck item to share
* A few games to play (Mike and I will bring a bunch so if you don't want to bring yours, there will be plenty to choose from!)
* Your families and friends - this event is open to all!
* Your own beverages if you want something special (water & pop will be provided)

We will provide lots of games, beverages, prizes and supplies to make your own New Year's Eve Party Hat!

We will be asking for a $5 donation per adult with kids 13 and under free! This helps us pay for the space and other incidentals. A pretty cheap way to spend New Year's Eve!!!

If you choose to bring your own games - please make sure you mark them well. If you have specific games you want Mike and I to bring, please list in your RSVP and I will do my best to bring all requested games.

Thanks again to St Albert the Great Parish for lending us their basement social hall. The basement of St. Albert's has lots of tables, a kitchen and plenty of space to spread out! (There is also a small children's play area if you have little ones.) Please use the doors on the west side of the church and come downstairs to basement. Signs will be posted. Elevator access is at the door on the corner of 29th street and 32nd Ave - behind the statue. Parking is available in the lot across the street from the church, in a lot behind the church\school and on the streets. http://www.saintalbertthegreat.org

We will be bringing out the big prize wheel. If you want to "re-gift" anything you got from Christmas but don't need bring it along and we'll add it to the prize table.

Also - if anyone is available to come early to set up tables or stay late to help clean up, let me know. All help is appreciated.

Happy Holidays!
